With college football officially back into our lives, it is time to get excited about just how much money we are going to win this football season. Not just on college, but the NFL as well, along with all the other sports. Winning is the name of the game here at BetQL, and we are devoted to giving you all nothing but the very best bets all season to crush the sportsbooks and generate cash for your pocket.

We started the college season off in fantastic fashion. The BetQL model really liked the Nevada Wolfpack this past weekend against the New Mexico State Aggies at a line of -7, and there were multiple reasons for that. In our projections, We had Nevada favored by -13.5 points, which was a -6.5 point difference from the closing line. That type of discrepancy between what we like and what the books have listed is always going to set off alarm bells, and create new bet slips. We gave the Wolfpack an 82% chance to win the game outright, and with a average projected final score of 35.5-22, this was a no-brainer for us at that number, as you can see above.

The Wolfpack earned a 23-12 win, and while that is just an 11-point victory, it still won us the bet at the closing number of -7. Obviously you'd want a bigger margin than four points so no sweating took place, but honestly, the New Mexico State offense was so terrible that I really wasn't that worried.

Running back Toa Taua had himself a day for Nevada, carrying them to victory on his back in the game. He had 19 rushing attempts for 109 yards, a 5.7 average on the ground. He was the workhorse for the game, but it was backup RB Devonte Lee that hit pay dirt twice for two touchdowns. He himself had a pretty nice day with 13 attempts for 61 yards, a 4.7 average per rush. Nevada doesn't have a clear cut quarterback, with both Shane Illingworth and Nate Cox getting snaps in the game, but they can rely on some talented running backs to get the job done.
