For the second time in two years, Vanderbilt has been plagued by a season-ending injury to their star player. Last season, Darius Garland (knee) destroyed their hopes and now potential lottery pick Aaron Nesmith (who averages 23.0 points and 4.9 boards for the Commodores) is out for the year with a foot injury. Therefore, Arkansas, who is off to a hot start, is even more of a home favorite in what is an uncertain time for Jerry Stackhouse’s Vanderbilt program. Nonetheless, it’s important to know this trend:
