These two teams played on Tuesday with the Liberty winning by 20 points, covering the -9.5 points spread. New York was without its leading score, Sabrina Ionescu, who is listed as a game-time decision tonight after dealing with a neck injury. Without Ionescu on Tuesday, this line was significantly lower, so being it's back up to -13.5 tells me that the books expect her to play.
While you might think that the Liberty should have an even better chance of covering with their star back, I think having her back on the floor will allow some of their other role players to relax a little bit.
Plus, New York has played in four back-to-back mini-series this year and they let off the gas in latter of the two games. Against Atlanta earlier this year, New York won the first game by 21 and the second game by six. The same happened wtheir opponents played them significantly closer in the second game.
