Target This NBA Bet in Hawks-Hornets

Ahead of tonight's slate of NBA games, the Daily Tip hosts discussed which best bets they're looking at. And Chelsa Messinger has a bet for Hawks and Hornets that's she's targeting.

"I'm trusting the Atlanta Hawks, laying 5.5 points here on the road against the Hornets," Messinger said. "But here's the thing, you cannot make a case for the Hornets in this scenario. Not only has Charlotte lost seven straight games, they also have not covered in six straight matchups. ... So this is not a Hornets team that I am willing to back right now. And meanwhile, Atlanta looks like they are at least trending in the right direction; 5-2 ATS in their last seven games and they're not terrible on the road, as terrible as I thought. And more importantly, Charlotte has been brutal at home -- 8-17 ATS when playing at home this season -- so homecourt advantage not meaning much for the Hornets. So I'll go with the Hawks here."
