NBA: Hawks +4.5 vs. Bucks

The sharps are riding with the Atlanta Hawks in tonight's NBA action against the Milwaukee Bucks. A whopping 64% of the total money wagered on the game is on the Hawks, but just 35% of tickets are on that side. In contrast, just 36% of the money is on the Bucks, but a large 65% of tickets are backing that side. That means we have a pretty big 29% "Pro-Money Advantage" on the Hawks, by taking the percentage of money wagered and subtracting the bet percentage.

Tickets on Atlanta are worth more money overall than those on the Bucks, so we know where the big money is going. We have already seen this line move, but it's moved further toward Milwaukee here, which is very weird to see. Remember, being "sharp" is all about getting the best number on a game.

I'm not sure what to make of this line. Sharps like the Hawks getting the points here, but it is just odd that the line has moved further toward the Bucks. Make sure to look at the injury report for this one before betting the game.

NCAAB: Marquette +2.5 vs. UConn

College basketball officially takes the screen away from football, and while we are obviously sad to see football end, we have some exciting buzzer-beaters headed our way. Marquette has been on fire lately, while UConn has taken its first losses. It's no wonder that the Golden Eagles are getting a lot of credit here, especially at home, where they have been great.

NHL: Sharks ML at Kings

Let's head over to the ice for the final sharp play of the night. If you don't bet on the NHL, you are missing out. There is some tremendous value in hockey. The sharps are going with San Jose Sharks tonight vs. the Los Angeles Kings. Personally, I like the Kings in this one, but the sharps are swimming with the Sharks. It's understandable, as there may be some value here. San Jose isn't as bad as its record indicates, and the Sharks just barely have a negative shot differential. L.A. is the better team to be sure, but at this number, I can see value on the ML, which is as high as +176 at FanDuel.

As of this writing, 46% of the money is on Sharks to take home a victory, but just 25% of the total tickets. In comparison, 54% of the money is liking the home Kings to win this one, but 75% of tickets are riding with that side here. Obviously, it could go either way, but the sharp bettors are clearly liking San Jose in this game.
