Dan Karpuc: Warriors -2 at Mavericks

These two teams are headed in different directions. The Mavericks have lost four consecutive games and failed to cover in all of them while the Warriors are riding a three-game win and cover streak. Golden State has also won five out of six and are seemingly turning things around. Most notably, the Warriors have absolutely beat down each of their last three opponents: the Timberwolves by 23, Jazz by 11 and Clippers by 17 (from most recent to least recent). Under Steve Kerr, the Warriors have gone 92-62 ATS off of two consecutive double-digit wins, 80-56 ATS after two consecutive covers and 75-52 ATS after a blowout win by 20 or more points. Even though they’re on the road and Luka Doncic is unbelievable, Golden State is clearly the better overall team and I trust them to get the job done.

Lucy Burdge: Warriors -2 at Mavericks
The Warriors have covered the spread in their last three games and the Mavericks haven’t covered in their last four games and they are 3-15 ATS this season, so I like the Warriors to cover this one against Dallas. Also, a trend in favor of the Warriors is Steve Kerr is 92-62 ATS after two straight wins by 10 points or more while coaching Golden State. When the Warriors and Mavericks faced off in the Western Conference Finals, the Warriors were 4-1 ATS against them and, of course, beat them in five games. The Mavericks are also 1-12 ATS in their last 13 games and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games at home. So give me the Warriors to cover this spread tonight.

Kate Constable: Warriors 1Q ML

The last five games for the Warriors and Mavericks have looked drastically different. Golden State has won four of their last five and things finally seem to be clicking for them after Steve Kerr made a few lineup changes. The Mavs on the other hand have lost four-straight and return home after a lengthy road trip. When teams are in this situation, I often like to play against them early because they often look a little sluggish in their first game back on their home floor. Plus, I could see the Warriors wanting to blitz Dallas early and make Luka Doncic have to play from behind in this one.
