Wizards at Timberwolves Prediction

The Washington Wizards (27-30 SU, 28-28-1 ATS, 30-27 O/U) close out their road trip with their final matchup of the season with the Minnesota Timberwolves (31-29 SU, 28-30-2 ATS, 29-31 O/U).

We took the Wizards as our upset pick the other night and that cashed, thanks to a 25-point win at Portland. I’m going back to the well and taking the points with them tonight against the Wolves. Minnesota is back home after a four-game road trip and its players are going to be dealing with getting their families ready for a few days off over the All-Star break. I question whether or not their focus is going to be there in the same way that the Wizards will, being that Washington is finishing off a road trip and is likely still in business mode. The last time these teams met, Washington won by 15 despite Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns playing in that game, which is why I think the Wizards can cover again tonight.

Bucks at Bulls Prediction

The Milwaukee Bucks (40-17 SU, 30-23-4 ATS, 28-29 O/U) and Chicago Bulls (26-32 SU, 29-28-1 ATS, 25-32 O/U) meet for the third time this season.

The Bulls are on a back-to-back after playing the Pacers last night in Indianapolis. Chicago blew a massive 24-point lead to lose by four. Now back at home against the Bucks, the only argument I could make for the Bulls winning this game is that they are extremely unpredictable. When you think they’re going to zig, they zag. That said, I’m confident in Milwaukee to get the job done on the road. The Bucks have already lost to the Bulls twice this season and I don’t see them losing for a third straight time. Milwaukee also wasn’t at full strength in either of those games with Khris Middleton sidelined in the last meeting and Jrue Holiday sidelined in the first. DeMar DeRozen is the glue for this Chicago team and he’s been banged up lately and could sit again tonight with the All-Star break ahead.

Lay the points with Milwaukee; you can still get -7.5 at PointsBet, but the number has moved to -8 at most other books, so move fast!

Clippers at Suns Prediction

The Los Angeles Clippers (31-28 SU, 30-29 ATS, 26-32-1 O/U) match up against the Phoenix Suns (32-27 SU, 32-27 ATS, 26-30-3 O/U) in their final game before the All-Star break.

The Suns got a nice win in their first home game since trading for Kevin Durant. Devin Booker has looked great since returning from injury and Phoenix's defense has been a difference-maker. However, I think they're going to see the effects of losing Cam Johnson and Mikal Bridges tonight in terms of depth against a tough L.A. team. The Clippers are coming off a fantastic shooting performance against the Warriors in which they shot 53% from the field and 47% from deep. For a team that typically relies on its defense, this is a very welcomed sign for Clippers fans. I think they can continue that strong output tonight against this Suns team that just traded away its best defender in Bridges. I did a little line shopping for you and the best number out there is +1.5 on BetMGM, so grab it quickly!
