CLIPPERS (-2.5) AT KINGS
Even with Kawhi Leonard and John Wall both out due to "injury management rest", I'm very high on this Clippers team due to their elite depth. This might be the deepest team in the entire NBA, and they'll put that on display tonight against a Kings team that lost by seven to the Trail Blazers at home in their opener.
In their six-point win over the Lakers in their opener, the Clips got 43 points from their bench and Tyronn Lue will be able to trot out a 10-man rotation yet again in this matchup, as Terence Mann (six minutes in the first game) and Amir Coffey (DNP in the first game) will likely slot in for Leonard and Wall. The starting five of Paul George, Reggie Jackson, Ivica Zubac, Norman Powell and Marcus Morris Sr. will remain in tact and Luke Kennard, Robert Covington, Nicolas Batum, Mann and Coffey will still have a clear edge over Sacramento's second unit.
Kings rookie Keegan Murray will make his debut alongside De'Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, Harrison Barnes and others, but I'm not nearly as high on this team as others in the industry are. Sacramento head coach Mike Brown is a favorite of mine for his energy and personality, but I think there's enough of a disparity in terms of roster depth to hammer the Clippers at -2.5.
