The Boston Celtics (34-12 SU, 25-20-1 ATS, 21-22 O/U) will look to continue their winning streak when they travel north of the border to take on the Toronto Raptors (20-26 SU, 21-24-1 ATS, 25-21 O/U).
The Celtics are the best team in the NBA in my opinion, and there is a reason they are the favorites to win the NBA title this season. These teams play each other four times this season, and this will be the second game they engage in. In the first contest, Boston pulled out a 116-110 win over the Raptors.
Toronto actually had a pretty good lead at halftime in that game, but they blew it in the second half. Jayson Tatum was lights out, scoring 31 points and grabbing 12 boards to lead the Celtics back to a victory. I think that while Toronto doesn't have a great record, they are better than people give them credit for. They have lost two straight, but I like them to cover here against Boston.
My Pick: Raptors ATS
The Philadelphia 76ers (29-16 SU, 26-19 ATS, 27-18 O/U) are in California tonight for their second meeting with the Sacramento Kings (25-18 SU, 26-17 ATS, 21-21 O/U).
Both of these squads are red-hot right now. I am shocked by how good the Kings have been this season, and a lot of times teams like this are huge frauds that I can't put any belief in. That isn't the case here, as Sacramento has really been that good this year, and they even have a +3.0 scoring differential.
The first time these two teams played, it was a total blowout win for the 76ers in which they scored 80 first-half points. Joel Embiid ripped them to shreds, but he does that to everyone on a nightly basis. This is a totally different team than what Philadelphia faced the first time around. I'll take the Kings on the spread here.
My Pick: Kings ATS
The Milwaukee Bucks (29-16 SU, 24-18-3 ATS, 23-22 O/U) will travel to the state of Ohio to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers (28-18 SU, 24-20-2 ATS, 22-24 O/U).
These two teams have already met each other three times this season, with the Bucks coming out on top in two of the three matchups. This will be the last time this season that they face each other, so it will be nice for the Cavs if they can tie the season series with Milwaukee. Cleveland actually had a lead in both of the games they lost, but blew it late and gave the Bucks wins. They didn't in their game at home, and now they get to be at home for this one.
The Cavs are one of my favorite teams this season to bet on, as I think they are highly underrated for a team that has a 28-18 record. They have struggled lately, losing three of their last four games, so I think we may get a discount here with them to tie up the season series.
My pick: Cavs ATS
