Doncic put the Mavericks on his back but was unable to get them across the line in what was a disappointing loss. The four defensive stats are certainly a welcome surprise for those invested in Doncic; however, his free throw shooting continues to be a question mark. The Mavericks currently occupy the seventh seed in the West and they would absolutely love to jump into the top-6, if possible. As long as Doncic is healthy, he should continue putting up some gaudy numbers the rest of the way.

Richardson was one of three Dallas starters that surpassed the 15-point mark -- with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis being the others -- and now he's reached that mark in two of his last four contests. The veteran sharpshooter has also scored in double digits in four of Dallas' last five contests, but perhaps more importantly, he ended an ice-cold streak of two games without a three-pointer, as he had gone 0-for-12 from deep over his previous two appearances.

On what was a disappointing night for the Mavericks, Finney-Smith was one of the few bright spots. Despite a consistent role, he has been unable to take the next step this season. He is a solid enough addition to any fantasy squad but the upside is basically zero and streaming his position is likely to garner more significant production.

Orlando suffered a 37-point loss against Milwaukee in a game where not a single Magic starter scored in double digits, but Bacon still found a way to contribute on both ends of the court. His shooting struggles conspired against him in this one, but that has been a major issue for the 2017 second-round pick, as he entered this game shooting just 33.3 percent from the field over his previous five appearances. Bacon will remain in the starting lineup and has potential, but the fact that he has scored in single digits in each of his last four appearances as a starter doesn't bode well for him, especially if opposing defenses will start focusing on him a bit more down the stretch.

Magic Injuries
James Ennis IIIORL | SF
Turns in 14 points
Ennis was the only Magic starter to score in double figures, and he achieved that despite recording only six shot attempts. The seventh-year veteran has been a bright spot during Orlando's roster overhaul, and he's hung on to a starting role despite recent acquisitions at the trade deadline. The return of Terrence Ross is of some concern for Ennis managers, as he's played exceedingly well after an extended absence. For now, it appears that Ennis will retain his spot in the starting five, but concerned parties should keep an eye on Ross.

Otto Porter Jr.ORL | SF
Ruled out Monday
Porter continues to deal with a sore left foot which will keep him out of a sixth consecutive game. When healthy, Porter could see regular minutes off the bench for the Magic, but with the team prioritizing youth development, Porter is highly unlikely to be fantasy relevant.
OUT
Michael Carter-WilliamsORL | PG
Racks up four steals in return
Carter-Williams made his return to the lineup after missing the previous three games due to an illness. He slotted straight back into the starting lineup and ended with what was a fantastic all-around fantasy line. Despite the production, the biggest takeaway here was the fact Cole Anthony returned and played 26 minutes despite having not played for months. R.J. Hampton also looked good off the bench, tallying 14 points in 28 minutes. While his starting role may stick for the short-term, it is hard to see Carter-Williams being anything more than a deeper league option moving forward.
OUT
Jonathan IsaacORL | PF
Reaches $80 million extension
The 23-year-old has already been ruled out for the 2020-21 campaign after undergoing ACL surgery in early August, but Orlando still opted to lock him up ahead of Monday's rookie extension deadline. Isaac played excellent defense and averaged 11.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.3 blocks over 28.8 minutes in 34 games last season, but he's played only 136 games over his first three seasons in the league.

Markelle FultzORL | PG
out for season with torn ACL
Fultz suffered the injury during the first quarter of Wednesday's contest and will be lost for the remainder of the 2020-21 campaign. It's brutal news for the Magic and the 22-year-old, who signed a three-year, $50 million extension in December. Rookie Cole Anthony figures to step into an increased role with Fultz sidelined.
