MLB Player Prop Values for Yankees-Astros Game 2

Player prop targets for today's MLB game from BetMGM

Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Thursday, Oct. 20

There is one game for Thursday’s MLB playoff slate (October 20), and we’ve identified a few favorable baseball player prop bets on the BetMGM Sportsbook that you could consider ahead of today’s action.

Aaron Judge Over 1.5 Bases (+115)

As always, Judge is likely to be one to watch in today’s matchup. Having batted .311 with an OBP of .425 through the regular season, the outfielder has been inundated with media attention as he battled to beat the Yankees single-season home run record (which he did). In Game 2 of the ALCS, Judge should be able to do what he does best and heat up at the plate — and he will need to if the Yankees wants to catch up to the Astros.

Houston’s Framber Valdez will be starting on the mound today, and this will be his second time this season throwing to Judge. With an ERA of 2.82 through the regular season and six strikeouts in his last playoff outing, Valdez will almost certainly be a challenge for Judge to overcome. Regardless, I think two bases is very doable.

At +115, the money could be better, but for 1.5 bases, I love the prop.

Kyle Tucker Over 1.5 Bases (+130)

Batting .257 with an OBP of .330, Tucker had a decent season — and he’s recorded at least two bases in two of his four playoff games to prove he has no intention of slowing down. In Game 2 of the ALCS against the Yankees, the Astros need to come in hot to keep their early lead, and Tucker should be able to heat up at the plate to help.

This will be New York pitcher Luis Severino’s second time throwing to Tucker this year, who managed to record a homer the last time they met. With a regular-season ERA of 3.18 and WHIP of 1.00, Severino isn’t going to make it easy for Tucker, but still, I’m confident Tucker can back up his solid year with two bases at home.

At +130 for 1.5 bases, I love this prop.
