That puts us up a whopping 6.33 units in three days this week, so we are guaranteed a winning week no matter what happens today and tomorrow for one-unit bettors. However, 6.33u isn't quite enough for me, so let's take a look at this massive NHL slate today on a tremendous Thursday and crush your bookie again.

Devils at Blues Prediction

Tough to go right back against the Blues after the Panthers failed us the other night against them, but I find too much value here tonight when the New Jersey Devils invade St. Louis. The Blues will certainly be a team that I fade in the second half against most teams, as I have them as one of my lower-rated squads in the NHL. They have both a negative goal and shot differential on the season, scoring 3.11 goals per game and allowing 3.60, while getting outshot on average 31.9 to 28.9.

The Devils have been one of my favorite teams since the very beginning of the season when I wrote about them as a sleeper team. They are scoring 3.45 goals per game and allowing just 2.62, while also outshooting their opponents 34.1 to 28.6 on average each night.

MY PICK: Devils -1.5 (+168, FanDuel). This is some great plus-money here at FanDuel on the Devils to win by two against a far worse team, in my opinion. You can take them on the ML, but you'll have to lay -150. I'll take a shot that they take it to the Blues and crush them as they should.

Jets at Blue Jackets Prediction

For our second game of the night, let's head over to Columbus, where we see the Winnipeg Jets traveling to take on the Blue Jackets. This one is going to be disgusting to take, and I certainly understand that, but I think the value is there.

The Jets don't impress me. They have a negative shot differential on the year, getting outshot on average 30.9 to 30.3. Winnipeg scores 3.19 goals per game and allows just 2.59. The goaltending has really held the Jets up and carried them to a 34-19-1 record.

The Blue Jackets are terrible, I'm not arguing that. This is a team that is scoring 2.43 goals per game and allowing a massive 3.80. Columbus is also getting outshot 35.0 to 29.1 on average, so totally dominated at every which way you look at them. I just think that the Jets are complete frauds and shouldn't have a record close to as good as they have.

MY PICK: Blue Jackets ML (+180, FanDuel). Horrendous, disgusting, awful. Three words to describe this bet, but I'm taking a shot here. Columbus is at home, and the Jets are extremely overrated and should be more of a .500 team. This is close to 2/1 odds, so I'll take the value against Winnipeg, with the best price being at FanDuel.
