Dan Karpuc: Giants +3 at Seahawks
Despite their 6-1 start, the Giants aren’t getting much respect from sportsbooks as they enter this game as field-goal underdogs in Seattle. The Seahawks will likely be without DK Metcalf, who was carted off the field with a knee injury on Sunday, which is a huge loss for their surprisingly explosive offense. New York is 6-1 ATS this season and five of those wins have come as true underdogs. First-year coach Brian Daboll and his coaching staff instantly turned around this team’s culture. Saquon Barkley looks like his old self, Daniel Jones has been solid at quarterback, the team has navigated potential drama with the whole Kenny Golladay situation and has rewarded deserving players with playing time on both sides of the ball. Overall, I simply view this Giants team as a better overall squad than Seattle, who I expect to drop off sooner rather than later in the NFC West.

Brad Pinkerton: Falcons -4 vs. Panthers

Following Carolina's shocking upset of the Bucs at home and the Falcons' first failed cover of the season at Cincinnati, this line has moved all the way down to Falcons -4, where I'll gladly take it. This is likely an overreaction to both outcomes last week. The Falcons are still 6-1 ATS this season (3-0 at home), while the Panthers are just 2-5 ATS. Granted, this is the first time Atlanta has been favored this season, but what do you expect with them facing a team that has lost its star running back, starting QB and head coach in just the first six weeks of the season? It's also only Carolina's third road game of the season (0-2 SU and ATS), so we'll see if they have the same fight as last week on a divisional opponents' home turf.

Lucy Burdge: Jets +2.5 vs. Patriots
I’m worried about the Patriots and all the confusion going on in Foxboro right now, so I’m looking at the surprising Jets to cover this spread. Personally, I’d rather see Bailey Zappe start for New England, but Mac Jones is the starter and he might be slightly rattled by getting benched last week. Yes, Belichick wants more than anything to beat the Jets, but the Jets are 6-0 ATS vs. teams averaging 7.0 or more yards per pass attempt while at home over the last three years. The Jets (5-2 ATS) have also covered the spread in their last four games, so I’m on New York to cover again.
