Creighton at Providence Prediction

Creighton is great at home, but has struggled on the road this season and that's where it finds itself tonight. Meanwhile, Providence has been very good at home, going 13-0 SU at home and 8-4 ATS as a home dog. When these two teams met earlier this season, the Bluejays won by six in Omaha behind Ryan Kalkbrenner's 21-point performance. The Friars are going to need to slow him down tonight if they want to find success. Providence also only shot 30% from the field in that game and trailed by as many as 14 points in the first half before having to climb its way back in in the second half. I don't see that happening again on the Friars home floor, especially since they're just one game back from Creighton in the Big East standings. This is a massive game between two top-25 teams and I anticipate this one ending in a one-possession game.

My pick: Providence +1.5

LSU at Georgia Prediction

Georgia is coming off a massive win over Kentucky on Saturday, so I wouldn't blame you if you viewed this as a potential letdown spot for the Bulldogs. That said, I think Georgia wins this one easily tonight. LSU has lost 12 straight games with 10 of those coming by double digits. The Tigers offense is pretty miserable, ranking 299th in effective field-goal percentage and 308th in 2-point percentage on KenPom. Georgia might only be 5-7 in SEC play, but it still has an outside shot at making the tournament, yet a loss tonight would surely end any of those hopes. I'll lay the short number with the home team.

My Pick: Georgia -4.5

Kansas State at Oklahoma Prediction

After a strong start to the season and in conference play, the Wildcats have come back down to Earth, losing three of their last four games. Their most recent loss to Texas Tech is a game they should have won, but the other two losses to Texas and Kansas are more understandable. However, with Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson, K-State will have the upper hand offensively over Oklahoma, which ranks dead last in the Big 12 in four different offensive categories. The Wildcats also play at a much faster pace than the Sooners, which isn't ideal for a team that is already extremely turnover-prone. Oklahoma’s four-game losing streak is about to become five tonight.
