Roquan Smith says the personal issue is behind him, he’s focused on moving forward, excited to get back out on the practice field today and looking forward to playing in London.

After unexpectedly missing last week’s game due to a personal issue, Chicago Bears linebacker Roquan Smith will reportedly play in London against the Oakland Raiders this week.
Chicago’s defense was dominant without him against the Minnesota Vikings and stifled star running back Dalvin Cook, but the Bears run defense is even more dominant with Smith on the field.
Roquan Smith has been a key piece on the @ChicagoBears defense since entering the league last season.

The Bears are considerably more effective against the run (+12% run stuff rate) and pass (-29.9 opponent passer rating) when Smith has been on the field since 2018.#Bears100 pic.twitter.com/JfeDSKWzhp
That’s bad news for Oakland rookie Josh Jacobs.
