WATCH: How to Bet the New England Patriots this Season

The New England Patriots are looking to bounce back this season after finishing 7-9 last year and not winning the AFC East. There are some unknowns about the team going into this season, chief of which is how Cam Newton will perform on the field. 

The Patriots Over/Under win total this season is 9 (-130/+110) (odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook). I’m taking them to go 10-7, so I like the Over on this one. I truly believe having COVID-19 affected Cam Newton because to drop off after he came back to the field following his recovery was immense. But now he’s had more time to recover and New England drafting Mac Jones has hopefully added some spark under him to play better.

The Patriots have the third-shortest odds to win the division at +330, behind the Buffalo Bills (-150) and the Miami Dolphins (+300). I don’t think New England will win the AFC East. Again, there are so many questions surrounding the team this year and I feel it all depends on how Newton looks to start the season.
