  • Quinton Mayo loves his Washington Football Team but has some doubts about them against the Buffalo Bills.

  • While he isn't betting for or against Washington (+8), his play against the Bills is taking the over.

  • The total for WFT-Bills is 45.5 at BetMGM, while the Bills are -385 on the moneyline.

It’s no secret that Quinton Mayo loves the Washington Football Team, which takes on the Buffalo Bills in Week 3. But Mayo isn’t betting on Washington to win, as he explained on BetMGM Tonight.

Mayo Doesn’t Trust The WFT Defense In This Game

“My heart is big for the Washington Football Team, of course, and this game I looked at on the schedule … one thing I wanted to say was ‘9-point underdogs, Washington and Buffalo? I’m all over that.’ And then I suddenly realized that the defense sucks," Mayo said.

“I do not trust in the Washington Football Team defense on the road against the Buffalo Bills,” he continued. “The play for me is the over. The total right now at BetMGM is 45.5.

“Buffalo’s defense has come around a little bit, but I think that Josh Allen will be able to take advantage of this Washington Football Team defense," he added. "I think they’ll be able to score at least 24, 28 points.”

Mayo Does Like Taylor Heinicke

There is a positive Mayo sees for his beloved team this week, and that is the aggressiveness of Taylor Heinicke against the Bills.

“I think Taylor Heinicke, one thing that he is going to do is take shots, take chances, he’s going to go out, he’s going to play the position fast. That’s kind of his thing,” Mayo said. “I think some points will be scored. I think Buffalo’s defense still has to step up in a lot of areas."
