Yesterday, Connor Allen and Matt Moore joined Nick Kostos and Ken Barkley on You Better You Bet to discuss the upcoming NFL Season and NBA Playoffs.

Here are some of the most notable nuggets from the show:

Allen's Biggest NFL Future Bet

Issue is we are still waiting on Aaron Rodgers news. Even if he doesn't play, you are getting some value here on the Lions UNDER 5.5 wins. Their offensive line was middle tier last year ... will take some time for Penei Sewel. You're firing up Anthony Lynn at offensive coordinator and Dan Campbell at head coach. Campbell's last stint as head coach was the interim at Miami where he was 5-7 as a head coach. Adam Gase became the next head coach and led that entire same core to a 10-6 record.

You're adding Jared Goff, who is much worse without play action. Anthony Lynn's team was 24th in play action rate last season. Worst receiving core in the league.

I just don't they are going to be favored in more than one to two games. The teams with the lowest win totals that they play at home against are going to be the Bengals and the Eagles, both of which I think are a good bit better than the Lions. I'd be very surprised if the Lions are favored in more than two games.

With the Packers, even if Jordan Love is starting, those are two games that are more-so toss-ups.

Moore Worried about the Lakers

Pretty high concern. This tiebreaker situation is big. Friday is massive. They play the Blazers Friday. If they lose that game, Portland wins the tiebreaker. That increases the chances of the Lakers falling into the play-in tournament a lot more.

And there's a pretty decent chance they face Memphis in the first round of the play-in. There's also a not terrible chance they face Steph Curry and the Warriors in that first one. And if you've got a Lakers future, that has to absolutely put the fear of God in you. So, yes, this is a concerning point.

LeBron should comeback. The news about his ankle is worrisome. I still think they're going to probably get it together, but my concern has never been higher for the Lakers.
