Although it took a missed 34-yard field goal with time expiring to get the job done, New York Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones had a phenomenal debut, going 23-for-36 passing with 364 total yards and four total touchdowns en route to a 32-31 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Jones’ fiery attitude and playing style clearly had his teammates fired up.
There was a point in the second quarter Daniel Jones went into the huddle and said, “Let’s fu***** score!” Guys were taken aback. Had never seen that side of him, seen him curse. Moments later he pulled a zone read and ran in a touchdown. Had the sideline buzzing. #Giants

From a draft-day laughingstock to a fantasy darling in the span of a couple months…
Daniel Jones just totaled 36.2 fantasy points -- the most ever by a rookie QB in his first career start -- and led his team to an 18-point come from behind victory.

Five months ago, on national television, the Giants were literally laughed at for taking him. https://t.co/PNnNsOWFvP
Jones' next test will come against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
