Tom Brady (QB)
Latest News
Updated Last Sunday at 11:57 PM
Although the completion percentage and yardage total were nothing to write home about, Brady was sharpest when it mattered most, namely, near the end zone. The future Hall of Famer shook off the absence of two of star pass catchers in Antonio Brown (ankle) and Rob Gronkowski (ribs) to rack up his fourth tally of at least four touchdown passes on the campaign. Brady particularly zeroed in on Mike Evans, who he hit for scoring tosses of nine, two and eight yards in the first half. With a 35-3 lead by intermission thanks in large part to the barrage of scoring that also included a four-yard touchdown throw to Chris Godwin in the first quarter, Brady didn't need to do much in the second half. The prolific afternoon pushed his TD:INT to a stellar 21:3, a ratio he'll look to build on further in a Week 8 divisional road matchup versus the Saints.

Leonard Fournette (RB)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 12:11 AM
It was a highly efficient day for the Buccaneers ground game as a whole, as Fournette's backfield mates Ronald Jones (10-63) and Ke'Shawn Vaughn (5-27) also averaged over 5.0 yards per carry. Fournette's yardage total equaled his second highest of the season, matching the one that he'd just recorded in Week 6 against the Eagles, while his two-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter was his fourth in the last three contests. Despite the relative proximity in rushing touches between Fournette and Jones on Sunday, it should be noted that appeared to be a byproduct of a game script that allowed the Bucs to turn to a very run-heavy approach after building up a 32-point first-half lead. Fournette will now look to make inroads against an extremely tough Saints run defense in a Week 8 road divisional battle.

Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 1:11 AM
Jones logged just five fewer carries than backfield mate Leonard Fournette, but when factoring in that even the seldom-used Ke'Shawn Vaugh got five totes himself, it becomes clear the extra workload was a product of game script. The Buccaneers had a 35-3 lead by halftime, so the ground attack took center stage during the second half and led to Jones seeing his heaviest rushing workload of the season by far. That led to a season-high yardage tally as well, but Jones could well be back to serving as the clear backup to Fournette in a Week 8 road clash against the Saints.

Latest News
Updated Today at 2:38 AM
Bernard logged 11 snaps from scrimmage overall, just three more than Ke'Shawn Vaughn, with the Buccaneers giving the second-year man some work in the rout as well. With Tampa Bay already up 35-3 at halftime, Bernard's hurry-up/two-minute role wasn't in demand whatsoever, helping lead to another modest showing for the veteran. The 29-year-old's opportunities are too sporadic to make him a fantasy consideration in any format at the moment.

Latest News
Updated Last Friday at 4:28 PM
Brown caught nine passes for 93 yards and a score against the Eagles last Thursday, but he hasn't practiced since and now will miss a game for the second time this season. Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson shared the No. 3 WR role when Brown was on the reserve/COVID-19 list back in Week 3, but Miller is now on IR with a toe injury. So, it'll likely be Johnson in the No. 3 role this Sunday, backed by rookie Jaelon Darden and possibly Jaydon Mickens or Cyril Grayson from the practice squad. Coach Bruce Arians didn't comments on expectations for Brown beyond Sunday, though Arians did have hope earlier this week that the wideout might avoid an absence altogether. Tampa faces Washington in Week 8, before heading on bye in Week 9.

Chris Godwin (WR)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 12:06 AM
Although Mike Evans stole the headlines with three touchdown grabs, Godwin was actually the player to pace the Buccaneers in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon. The fifth-year wideout was also on the receiving end of the first of Tom Brady's four scoring tosses, recording a four-yard touchdown grab late in the first quarter. Godwin now has at least five receptions in three straight contests, and his yardage tally Sunday was a season high. He'll look to build on the dominating effort against the Saints in a Week 8 road clash.

Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 12:01 AM
The towering wideout served as one of Tom Brady's most effective red-zone target on the day, recording touchdown grabs of nine, two and eight yards in the first half. Evans was second in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Chris Godwin on the Bucs for the night, and he's now recorded three multi-touchdown efforts on the season, including two in the last three contests. Evans will look to keep up the momentum in a Week 8 divisional road matchup versus Marshon Lattimore and the Saints secondary that's often given him trouble in the past.

Latest News
Updated Today at 2:54 AM
The second-year wideout logged a hefty 49 snaps overall, good for a 67 percent share. However, Johnson saw the bulk of Tom Brady's attention diverted to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, who accounted for 14 of the quarterback's 20 completions, 187 of his 211 yards and all four of his touchdown passes. With Antonio Brown (ankle) potentially back for a Week 8 road battle against the Saints, Johnson figures to see his time on the field dwindle from Sunday's level before long.

Latest News
Updated Today at 2:42 AM
The veteran tight end was coming off a season-best 6-49-1 line against the Eagles in Week 6, but he was right back to a minimal role Sunday despite the absences of both Antonio Brown (ankle) and Rob Gronkowski (ribs). Howard did log a solid 37 snaps, but with Gronkowski potentially back for a Week 8 matchup against the Saints, his opportunities could dry up further as early as Sunday.

Jalen Hurts (QB)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 1:20 AM
While the second-year quarterback once again wasn't particularly efficient as a passer and he did lose his first fumble of the year, Hurts still found Kenneth Gainwell and Jalen Reagor for scores through the air and also hit Dallas Goedert for a two-point conversion. Hurts will take a 10:4 TD:INT, plus five rushing TDs, into a Week 8 matchup on the road against the Lions.

Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 10:31 PM
The Eagles don't consider Sanders' injury to be a serious one, but it's unclear if he'll be able to go Sunday at Detroit. Per Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Sirianni also mentioned the team isn't "ruling him out yet," so Sanders may get on the practice field this week and test out his ankle. In the event Philadelphia is without Sanders in Week 8, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott will be the primary running backs, while Jordan Howard will be a candidate to be brought up from the practice squad.

Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 1:27 AM
Miles Sanders left the game late in the first quarter with an ankle injury, and Gainwell split the backfield workload roughly equally with Boston Scott for the rest of the afternoon, with Gainwell's nine touches topping Scott by one. Both backs also found the end zone -- Scott on the ground, Gainwell through the air -- and if Sanders is sidelined for a Week 8 road clash against the Lions, the duo could well operate in a timeshare once again.

The rookie wideout led the Eagles in receptions and targets, although Dallas Goedert hauled in more yardage. Smith has caught at least five passes in three of the last four games as he continues to build chemistry with Jalen Hurts, which will give him some intriguing upside in Week 8 against a Lions secondary that just got carved up by Cooper Kupp.

Reagor saw his lowest target total over the last three weeks, and none of them came until garbage time. Fortunately, one of his chances came in the red zone, and he converted it into a score. The TCU product is still an afterthought in an average offense, however.

Making his Cardinals debut, Ertz tied A.J. Green for the team lead in receiving yards with most of his damage coming on a 47-yard TD toss from Kyler Murray in the third quarter.
