Davis Mills (QB)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 2:17 AM
While the rookie quarterback managed a decent completion percentage, his 4.2 yards per attempt provided a better indication of how little success Mills had moving the Texans' offense. He's now failed to reach 200 passing yards in three of his five starts, managing only a 5:7 TD:INT during that stretch, and with Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) ready to begin practicing again, Mills' stint as Houston's starter could end as soon as Week 8 against the Rams.

Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 12:30 PM
The Texans grabbed a 5-0 lead early in the second quarter on the backs of Houston's defense, which produced a safety then a short field that turned into a 53-yard Ka'imi Fairbairn field goal. Until that point, Ingram and the Texans' running game did little and finished with 42 yards and a 2.8 yards-per-attempt average. The Cardinals' offense eventually found itself and scored on four consecutive drives and Houston shelved its running game. Ingram leads the team's backs in carries but has not found the end zone since Week 1.

Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 2:28 AM
The Texans managed only 160 yards of total offense in the rout, but Johnson managed to provide nearly a third of them. The scrimmage yards were a season high for the veteran running back, but Houston's offense as a whole could find a little more life once Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) reclaims the starting QB job from rookie Davis Mills, something which could happen as soon as Week 8 against the Rams.

Brandin Cooks (WR)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 2:33 AM
Eighteen of those yards came on one grab, as the other four catches Cooks made all came close to the line of scrimmage and gave him little chance to make something happen. He did lead the Texans in targets while tying David Johnson for the lead in receptions, but his yardage total was a season low. Cooks will look to rebound in Week 8 against the Rams, something which might be more likely to happen if Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) is able to return to the lineup and replace struggling rookie quarterback Davis Mills.

As is fellow WR Nico Collins (foot), which sets the stage for Collins, Conley and Chris Moore to contend for outside snaps opposite top option Brandin Cooks, while Danny Amendola mans the slot for Houston. With Davis Mills drawing another start at QB versus 6-0 Arizona, Conley, who has compiled a 7/134/1 stat line through six games, profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy lineup option in Week 7.

Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 1:00 PM
Collins has emerged as the No. 2 wideout since returning from a shoulder injury. He's been targeted 11 times while playing 60 percent of the snaps the last weeks, second only to Brandin Cooks among Houston's wideouts. Unfortunately, rookie quarterback Davis Mills is undergoing a steep learning curve in real time, and NFL defenses are taking advantage. Houston has been outscored 62-8 the last two weeks, but they could get Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) back this week. Taylor's return could benefit all concerned.

Jordan Akins (TE)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 1:27 PM
Akins finished second among tight ends, behind Pharaoh Brown, who had three catches for 11 yards. The Texans' offense has been shut down the last weeks, having scored just eight points in losses to Indianapolis and Arizona. The last Houston touchdown was early in the third quarter of Week 5. There's a chance Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) returns Week 8 against the Rams, which could provide a boost to Akins and the other pass-catchers.

Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 1:20 PM
Since catching four passes on five targets for 67 yards in a Week 1 win over Jacksonville, Brown has eight catches for 47 yards and zero targets in the red zone over the last six games. During that stretch, the Texans have just seven red-zone appearances, the area where tight ends typically accrue their most fantasy value. His main competition at tight end, Jordan Akins, caught both of his targets for 13 yards.

Carson Wentz (QB)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 4:38 AM
Wentz somehow wasn't credited with an interception when he shovel-passed the ball directly into Azeez Al-Shaair's arms in the second quarter, instead recording his third fumble lost of the season. Outside of that ugly play, the veteran quarterback held his own in a heavy downpour and blustering winds at Levi's Stadium. Wentz doesn't provide a ton of upside in his new digs, but he has been a surprisingly safe fantasy option with an 11:1 TD:INT ratio through seven games this season. The Colts will face a stiff test against the Titans next Sunday.

Jonathan Taylor (RB)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 3:44 AM
Taylor did lose his first fumble through seven games this year, but all players were dealing with slippery conditions in Santa Clara this evening (seven total fumbles, four lost). The 22-year-old extended his touchdown streak to four games, and has now accounted for six scores and 551 total yards from scrimmage over the last four weeks. While Taylor is undoubtedly trending in the right direction, his streak of soft matchups comes to a close in Week 8 when the Colts take on the Titans, who limited the back to 72 total yards and no scores back in Week 3.

Nyheim Hines (RB)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 6:37 PM
Hines had a bad drop on a pass that would have gone for 10-to-20 yards, which would have made his game look much better. He played on 19 of the offense's 68 snaps, which has been about his usual workload. However, he's just not a big part of a game plan unless the team is playing from far behind and is forced to throw as he hasn't had a game with more than ten touches since Week 3.

Michael Pittman Jr. (WR)
Latest News
Updated Yesterday at 4:32 AM
Pittman resumed his role as the Colts' top outside threat with T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) sitting this one out. The 24-year-old took advantage of the opportunity, recording his second 100-plus yard game of the season as well as his second trip to the end zone. Pittman has been the team's most-consistent wideout and fantasy producer at the position, but fantasy managers need to monitor Hilton's status for next week's matchup against the Titans, as Pittman took a backseat (two catches for 35 yards) to the veteran in the lone game they played in together Week 6.

Latest News
Updated Last Friday at 7:23 PM
The most optimistic outcome would have Campbell returning in two months to face the Patriots in Week 15. He'll likely need some time to get up to speed once his rehab is complete, but a return late in the regular season or for the playoffs, should the Colts make it, is on the table for the third-year wideout. Campbell will need to be removed from IR in order to resume playing.

Pascal led the team in targets and didn't do much with them, but some of that can be excused by the rainy and windy conditions. He worked as the No. 2 receiver with T.Y. Hilton out and should continue to get a steady workload with both Hilton and Parris Campbell sidelined.

Alie-Cox contributed his fourth touchdown over the past four weeks, quickly becoming one of Carson Wentz's favorite red-zone targets. The veteran tight end doesn't bring a ton of upside to the table while splitting time with Jack Doyle, but he could be used in a pinch for those needing help at the position while he maintains this scoring hot streak.
