Meanwhile, not only do the Rockets have the league’s worst record at 3-16, but they’ve also gone 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games. It’s also worth mentioning that the Thunder have gone 5-5 overall in the last 10 games Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has played. That’s not a coincidence; he’s averaging an elite 20.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 34.8 minutes per contest and should eat in this matchup. NCAAB: South Florida +6.5 at Boston College
Under coach Brian Gregory, South Florida (3-2, 2-3 ATS) has gone 21-7 ATS after playing two consecutive home games, 14-4 ATS when playing against a marginal winning team (51-60% win percentage) and 13-7 ATS after allowing 25 or fewer points in the first half of their last game. That’s right; three trends are relevant in this situation. This USF team hung with nationally ranked Auburn (58-52 loss on November 19th) and there’s nothing special about this Boston College (4-3, 3-4 ATS) roster or early-season performance that would prevent me from backing the Bulls in this situation. NHL: Penguins +125 at Flames
Under coach Mike Sullivan, the Penguins (10-7-4, 24 points) have gone 78-39 SU after a loss by two or more goals in their previous game and 111-61 after allowing four goals or more. Pittsburgh got beaten 6-3 by the Montreal Canadiens last time out, so these trends are relevant for this matchup against the Flames (12-4-5, 29 points) in Calgary. If goaltender Tristan Jarry is in net for Pittsburgh, I love this bet even more. He’s recorded five straight wins when he’s started between the pipes and that includes three shutouts and two games surrendering just one goal.
