Through four weeks, we all assumed that Texas would beat Louisiana-Monroe and UTSA easily (which they did). However, after they fell by one point to Alabama (20-19) after arguably outplaying the Crimson Tide all game in Week 2, many people labeled this Longhorns team as “back”.
But, that’s unfortunately not the case for them. In Week 4, they fell 37-34 at Texas Tech to fall to 2-2 on the year. Not only that, but they have a tough schedule ahead: vs. West Virginia, at Oklahoma, vs. Iowa State, at Oklahoma State, at Kansas State, vs. TCU, at Kansas and vs. Baylor.
Up next is a matchup against West Virginia at home. If they lose that contest, the team’s fan base will be in shambles.
