Theo Majette established himself as the best interior defender in the MAC last season and has already made a splash this year, posting 3.0 sacks through Kent State’s first two games.
The senior has posted 14 tackles through those two contests and will be instrumental if the Golden Flashes have any shot at limiting Auburn’s run game behind a massive offensive line.
Remember, SEC offensive lines look a lot different than MAC offensive lines. It will be a true test for Majette, but this could be a way for him to impress NFL scouts, who have most likely already been paying attention to him.
BetQL’s NCAA Football Model labels Kent State +35 as the better bet in this matchup. If they keep the game within five touchdowns, Majette will likely be a major reason why.
