With a matchup against No. 2 Ohio State looming next week, No. 9 Penn State must take care of business at home against No. 24 Indiana. After their 31-26 loss to undefeated Minnesota last week, the Nittany Lions still have a shot at the College Football Playoff if they win out. This victory would be a resume-builder in advance of their road showdown against the Buckeyes and regular-season finale against Rutgers. Can they cover this spread against the surging Hoosiers?

BetQL’s NCAA Football Model has beasted on Penn State bets so far this season.

#4 Alabama (-20) at Mississippi State

ALA (8-1), MSST (4-5), O/U 63.5

Wouldn’t you have liked to be a fly on the wall during Alabama’s weekly practices and film sessions after they were outplayed in all phases by LSU last week? Expect Nick Saban to light a fire under his team this week, but will they be able to fully control the game and beat Mississippi State by 21-plus points on the road? Do you think this line would have been different if they beat LSU?

#2 Ohio State (-52) at Rutgers

OSU (9-0), RUTG (2-7), O/U 61.5

Poor, poor Rutgers. They’re the laughingstock of the Big Ten yet again, as evidenced by the fact that they’re 52-point underdogs at home. That's just sad. Ohio State has demolished many of their opponents this season and they should have no issue doing so in this contest. But, will they continue to put their foot on the gas and be able to cover this massive spread on the road? Only time will tell.

Wake Forest at #3 Clemson (-34.5)

WAKE (7-2), CLEM (10-0), O/U 59.5

Before getting throttled by Virginia Tech last week, Wake Forest’s ascension was a notable storyline in the 2019 college football season. Led by talented quarterback Jamie Newman, Wake is no slouch, as evidenced by their 7-2 record. Although it looks like Trevor Lawrence and Clemson have turned the corner and gotten into late-season mode, this 34.5 spread is downright disrespectful to the Demon Deacons, who will undoubtedly be using it as bulletin board material all week in preparation.

#7 Minnesota at #24 Iowa (-3)

MINN (9-0), IOWA (6-3), O/U 44.5

BetQL’s College Football Model has dominated Iowa bets all season and the Hawkeyes can spoil Minnesota’s perfect season in front of their home fans. The undefeated Golden Gophers are three-point road underdogs in this matchup. With another win, Minnesota would have a decent shot to close out the regular season with a perfect record (at Northwestern and at home against No. 15 Wisconsin).

#10 Oklahoma (-10) at #12 Baylor

OKLA (8-1), BAY (9-0), O/U 67.5

A lot is at stake in this epic matchup. Jalen Hurts has +1400 odds to win the Heisman Trophy right now and a dominant individual performance (with a win) against Baylor would most likely vault him above Justin Fields and could slightly tighten the gap between Joe Burrow and the field. Oklahoma needs a marquee win to get themselves back into the CFP conversation and their defense has let them down in back-to-back weeks (including in their loss to Kansas State). Meanwhile, a victory at home would give undefeated Baylor’s resume a major boost and could give them a legitimate case to be considered for a spot in the CFP with a home game against No. 22 Texas and a road date against Kansas coming in their final two contests of the regular season.
