Don't Snooze On This College Football Sleeper

See the odds and BetQL's projected win total for Kentucky this season

The college football season is just around the corner, folks. And as you're starting to ramp up your long-awaited college football betting, let me call your attention to a sleeper team you might want to put some money on.

And that snoozer is Kentucky. Ahead of this season, Kentucky's odds to win the national championship are at +12000 at DraftKings; their odds to win the SEC are +5500; and they're behind Georgia at second place on the odds list to win the SEC East at +1200.

We got to know quarterback Will Levis a bit better this offseason after the world learned he drinks coffee with mayonnaise in it. You did not read that wrong. But it's really no crazier than a lot of the stuff Aaron Rodgers does and he's an MVP quarterback in the NFL. So I feel like this is a reason to take a closer look at Kentucky's odds with a guy like Levis at the helm.

Kentucky finished second in the SEC East last season with an overall record of 10-3. That's not terrible. The over/under on their win total for this season is at 8 at DraftKings and the BetQL Model projects them at 8.5 wins. If you want to bet on the over for this win total, you can get that at +100, while the under is at -120. Personally, I'm in agreement with the BetQL Model on the over for this team and would also look at their odds to win the national championship if you're feeling risky. If you're looking for a sleeper this college football season, I would look no further than Kentucky.
