Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech is a 4-point favorite at home against Virginia Tech this weekend, but BetQL is calling for an upset. The BetQL Model rates the Virginia Tech +155 moneyline as a five-star value, making it one of the best college football bets this weekend.
The Model has gone 97-70-19 (58.1%) on all VT bets, including 18-11-2 (62.1%) on full-game moneyline bets. The Model also rates the VT +130 first-half moneyline as a 4-star bet; it has hit on 76% of Georgia Tech first-half moneyline bets and 67% of VT first-half moneyline bets, so the model has a great read on these two teams.
Of course, the Model also loves the Hokies +4 for the full game and +2.5 in the first half, both four-star values. It's worth noting that the Model is 17-8-3 (68%) on spread bets involving Georgia Tech for a return of $738 on $100 bets, so there's a proven track record here.
Boise State at Colorado State
Boise State is a 2.5-point favorite at Colorado State this weekend with the total set at 51.5. Despite playing on the road, the BetQL Model rates the Boise State -135 moneyline as a five-star bet and Boise State -2.5 as a three-star bet, giving you two ways to play this contest.
We actually have Boise State projected at -191 on the moneyline and favored by six points, so there’s plenty of value here. The Model has gone 20-7-1 (74.1%) on all Boise State moneyline bets.
The Model is also taking the over on the full-game total of 51.5 (4-star bet) and the first-half total of 26 (4-star bet). That gives you plenty of high-value plays in this contest.
Virginia at BYU
The BYU Cougars are 2.5-point favorites against former head coach Bronco Mendenhall and the Virginia Cavaliers, and the BetQL Model is backing the Cougars at home. The No. 17 Pitt Panthers are huge nine-point home favorites this weekend against the Miami Hurricanes, but is that spread too wide? BetQL has Miami +6.5, making the current spread a two-star value. However, this spread has been as high as Miami +12.5, so it's a good idea to see if the spread widens again to get better value, but we're still leaning toward Miami. USC (-21.5) is a huge favorite at home against Arizona, and we're not seeing much value on the spread or moneylines in this one. However, the total has BetQL's attention, as it rates the over 56 as a four-star bet. We project the total to be 60 points between these two teams and BetQL is 18-6 (75%) on USC O/U bets for a whopping return of $1,037 on $100 bets.
