BetQL Rating: ★★★★½  (1st Half Broncos -7)

Marshall and (No. 24) Boise State meet Friday night for just the second time in either school’s history at Albertsons Stadium. The Broncos won their lone meeting in 1994, a 28-24 victory.

The Broncos won their first game 36-31, after a huge second-half comeback against Florida State in Week 1. Meanwhile, Marshall routed Virginia Military Institute at home, coming out on top 56-17.

Marshall head coach Doc Holliday is back for his 10th season at the program, and is coming off his second straight winning campaign. The Thundering Herd have also won back-to-back bowl games, including last season’s Gasparilla Bowl win over South Florida.

  • Over the last three seasons, the Broncos have gone 17-3 in home games played at Albertsons Stadium.

  • The Thundering Herd were 3-2 in true road games last season, including a narrow 28-25 win against C-USA opponent Florida International. However, none of them came against ranked opponents.
