Highest Ticket Percentage: Alabama

The Crimson Tide have attracted 16.4% of public tickets while the Buckeyes are at 14.9% and Bulldogs are at 11.0%.

As one of college football’s most prolific dynasties, it’s not much of a surprise that Alabama attracted the most public bets so far. Bama is a perfect 5-0 and has quality road wins over Texas and Arkansas with the rest of their SEC schedule coming up, but with Nick Saban and a track record of six National Championships in the last 13 seasons, they’re never a bad bet to raise the trophy.

Highest Handle Percentage: Ohio State

Ohio State checks in with 26.7% of the total handle followed by Alabama (25.2%) and Georgia (10.3%).

With Heisman Trophy favorite CJ Stroud at quarterback, the Buckeyes are off to a perfect 5-0 start and Penn State and Michigan are their only remaining ranked opponents. Since the money percentage is higher than the ticket percentage for both Ohio State and Alabama, sharp bettors are backing both schools.

Biggest Liability: Michigan

At +2000, Michigan represents the biggest liability for the sportsbook, followed by Ohio State and Alabama due to their sheer volume and handle.

The Wolverines are 5-0 and have crushed their early-season opponents. Like Ohio State, they only face two ranked opponents on the rest of their schedule: Penn State and the Buckeyes. There’s certainly a scenario where Ohio State and Michigan square off undefeated on November 26th and both make the College Football Playoff, which makes them appealing betting options.
