Louisville at Arkansas Preview

The Kenny Payne era at Louisville (0-3 SU, 0-3 ATS, 1-2 O/U) has gotten off to an unbelievable start: three one-point losses. Not kidding... the Cardinals lost that way to Bellarmine (67-66), Wright State (73-72) and Appalachian State (61-60).

The new head coach is still in search of his first win and it’ll be tough sledding against Arkansas (3-0 SU, 1-1-1 ATS, 0-3 O/U). The Razorbacks have won all of their games by double digits: 76-58 over North Dakota State, 74-48 over Fordham and 71-56 over South Dakota State. Louisville is ranked 123rd in KenPom’s efficiency ratings while Arkansas checks in at 14th (with the 4th-rated Adjusted Defense).

My Lean: Arkansas ATS. I was expecting big things from this Louisville team and they’ve gotten embarrassed so far. Their three losses came against teams they should have beaten up on and I expect the Razorbacks to absolutely blow them out.

Ohio State at San Diego State Preview

This will be the Buckeyes’ first test of the season as they’ve easily taken care of Robert Morris (91-53), Charleston Southern (82-56) and Eastern Illinois (65-43). They currently rank 28th in KenPom’s efficiency ratings. San Diego State beat Cal State Fullerton (80-57), BYU (82-75) and Stanford (74-62) so far and rank 16th in overall efficiency, per KenPom.

Cincinnati at Arizona Preview

BetQL has accurately recommended 63% of Arizona (3-0 SU, 1-2 ATS, 3-0 O/U) bets and 57% of Cincinnati (3-1 SU, 1-2 ATS, 1-2 O/U) wagers all-time heading into this matchup.

The Wildcats rank 12th in KenPom’s overall efficiency ratings (including 5th in his adjusted offensive efficiency) while the Bearcats check in at 63rd. Cincinnati easily took care of Chaminade (98-55), Cleveland State (69-58) and Eastern Kentucky (87-69) to start off the year, but fell 64-51 in a shocking defeat to Northern Kentucky last time out.

Arizona’s offense has been incredible in their first three games; they’ve beaten Nicholls State 117-75, Southern 95-78 and Utah Tech 104-77. Their 105.3 points per game average leads all of Division-I. 

My Lean: Arizona over team total/over first half team total. Not only do the Wildcats rank 1st in total points per game scored (105.3), but they also rank 1st in first half points scored (52.3). Azuolas Tubelis, Oumar Ballo, Pelle Larsson and Kerr Kriisa should be able to put up plenty of points, per usual.
