Dan Karpuc: Maryland -12 at Louisville

Louisville is 0-6 SU and 0-6 ATS. After three consecutive one-point losses to open the year, the Cardinals have lost by 26 to Arkansas, 32 to Texas Tech and 19 to Cincinnati. Now they’ll face a Maryland squad that’s off to a perfect 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS start. Not only that, but the Terrapins have put up 95, 88 and 95 points in their last three games. That’s bad news for a Louisville team that won’t have the offensive firepower to keep up or the defensive ability to limit Maryland’s offense. Four different Terps are averaging 13.7 points or more and all should have the ability to build off of their early-season numbers in this one.

Lucy Burdge: Illinois -12.5 vs. Syracuse
Illinois has won five of their last six games and Syracuse has failed to cover the spread in their last two games, so I think Illinois can cover this double-digit spread against Syracuse. And a trend in Illinois’ favor here is Jim Boeheim is just 100-134 ATS versus good defensive teams allowing 64 or fewer points per game while coaching Syracuse. So I like Illinois to handle this spread against Syracuse tonight.
