Dan Karpuc: Mississippi State-Omaha Under 130
The under has gone 6-0 in Mississippi State’s games so far and they currently rank seventh out of 336 Division-I teams in KenPom’s all-encompassing Adjusted Defensive Efficiency Rankings. The Bulldogs also rank 336th in KenPom’s Adjusted Tempo, so this game will be played at a snail’s pace. I expect Mississippi State (also a perfect 6-0 SU) to control the pace, set up their style of play and win with a gritty, defensive masterpiece. Omaha is ranked 277th in KenPom’s Adjusted Offensive Efficiency, so I’d also consider betting under their team total wherever I find the best number.

Lucy Burdge: Sam Houston State +4.5 vs. Nevada
Sam Houston State has covered in three straight, including an outright win as 10-point underdogs at Utah during that stretch. A trend in favor of Sam Houston State to cover here is Jason Hooten is 20-8 ATS after successfully covering the spread in three or more consecutive games while coaching Sam Houston State. With Sam Houston State’s recent success, including the 10-point spread they covered as the underdog three games ago, I like them to cover once again here against Nevada.

Brad Pinkerton: Texas Southern-Kansas Over 140.5

First of all, the BetQL model is rating the Over 140.5 as a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ value. That's significant because the college hoops model has gone 87-59 (60%) on ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ O/U picks this season. I also think the over is a value here, as the line seems to be an overreaction to Kansas scoring just 50 in a loss to Tennessee last week, Texas Southern starting the season 1-6 O/U, or both. However, this isn't Tennessee, and Kansas is still averaging 74.4 points per game. Plus, this 140.5 number is lower than most totals that Texas Southern has seen, and would be the third-lowest total for both teams if it holds. I think there's a strong chance Kansas bounces back and makes a significant contribution to hitting this over tonight even if they hold TX So. in check.
