Cincinnati at East Carolina

TREND: Cincinnati is 3-7 overall (3-7 ATS) on the road this season.

WHY IT MATTERS: The Bearcats dropped their first five road games (straight-up and ATS) to Ohio State, Bowling Green, Xavier, Iowa and Tulane and recently fell to Memphis and UConn. They’ve managed road wins against Central Florida, Temple and Wichita State. ECU has gone 9-7 (8-8 ATS) at home, but has lost three of their last four straight-up (to Tulsa, Houston and Central Florida). In other words, Cincinnati has struggled on the road, but ECU isn’t exactly a major threat.

#21 Iowa at Minnesota

TREND: Iowa has lost five of their last six road games straight-up (3-7 SU, 3-6-1 ATS).

WHY IT MATTERS: Iowa’s home/road splits have been wildly different (they’re 10-1 SU and 9-3 ATS at home). Meanwhile, Minnesota has been very solid at home (10-3 SU, 9-4 ATS). Both teams are in need of a statement win, so there’s quite a bit riding on this contest. Judging solely by these trends, the Golden Gophers have an edge.

Memphis at UConn

TREND: When Memphis has been an underdog, the OVER has gone 4-1 this season.

WHY IT MATTERS: With an over/under of 138.5 and with two offenses that are capable of engaging in a shootout, this trend suggests that betting over the total would be a smart option on today’s slate.

#4 San Diego State at Boise State

4:00pm EST, VIEW LIVE ODDS

TREND: San Diego State is 10-0 (9-1 ATS) on the road this season.

WHY IT MATTERS: Boise State has been dominant at home this season (12-2 SU, 11-3 ATS), but it’s always tough to fade a team like the Aztecs, who are the only remaining undefeated team in Divsion I hoops. Six of San Diego State’s 10 road victories have come by double-digits and with a perfect regular season in sight before their conference tournament, don’t expect them to let up. With matchups against UNLV, Colorado State and Nevada on the road on the horizon, this win most likely won’t come easy, but San Diego State is favored for a reason.

Utah at #17 Oregon

9:00pm EST, VIEW LIVE ODDS

TREND: Utah has lost seven-straight road games straight-up (1-6 ATS).

WHY THIS MATTERS: With a 22-point loss to Coastal Carolina followed by six-straight Pac-12 losses, Utah has been completely lost on the road this season. Although Oregon is a double-digit favorite, they’ve won nine-straight home games and are undefeated at home in Pac-12 play. Judging by these trends alone, it’s difficult to find a reason to bet on Utah unless you aren’t comfortable with the double-digit spread.
