Dan Karpuc: Blazers +1 vs. Nuggets
Damian Lillard is back and this Blazers team is finally whole once again. With Anfernee Simons as a legitimate 30-point option every night, Jerami Grant playing at an All-Star level and Jusuf Nurkic having the girth to match up with Nikola Jokic on the interior, I love Portland’s outlook tonight. The Blazers have won and covered in back-to-back games heading into this one and Denver is riding a three-game losing (and no-cover) streak. With Michael Porter Jr. still out, the Nuggets are forced to rely on Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon offensively and in this particular matchup, I’m giving the clear edge to Portland at home.

Kate Constable: Nuggets-Blazers Over 227

The Nuggets need this game after dropping their last three to the Hawks, Pelicans and Mavericks. That makes me believe they’re going to come into this game hyper-focused. And when that’s the case, they usually put up big numbers offensively. Not to mention they got destroyed by Portland earlier this season, 135-110. Both of these teams are also much better on the offensive side of the ball than they are on the defensive end. Their offensive efficiency numbers have been up lately, too, which will carry this game over despite both teams playing at a relatively slow pace.

Lucy Burdge: Rockets -1.5 at Spurs
The Spurs are having a rough go of it, losing their last 11 games and failing to cover in 10 of those. The Rockets aren’t a whole lot better, but they have at least won and covered in two of their last three games. Plus, the Spurs are 2-10 ATS versus teams allowing a FG% of 46.0% or higher this season. So I have a lot of faith in the Rockets to cover this spread against the Spurs tonight.
