It was a tale of two halves in Game 1. The Celtics looked like they were ready to run the Heat off the court in the first half, but got outscored 39-14 in the third quarter in an eventual 118-107 loss. That left everyone wondering what happened when they came back out after halftime.

"It wasn't anything different that they did," Celtics head coach Ime Udoka said. "They just came out and imposed their will."

Boston led by 13 in the first half and took a 62-54 lead into the half. A 22-2 run was how Miami started the second half, and the rest was just momentum for Miami. Jimmy Butler had 17 points that third quarter alone.

Trends In Boston's Favor

Boston never had back-to-back games against the Bucks where they failed to cover, always answering after a loss, and that trend could carry over in Game 2. The Celtics are also 3-0 SU after losses this postseason, winning those turnaround games by an average of 14.7 points and getting two of those wins on the road.

What makes this more complicated, though, are the statuses of both Marcus Smart (mid-foot sprain) and Al Horford (health and safety protocols), who missed Game 1. It would certainly help to have Smart, the Defensive Player of the Year, out there to help with Butler, who's averaging 29.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.3 steals in these playoffs on 53.5-percent shooting.

The Celtics have made a habit of rebounding from losses and should find ways to make adjustments on both ends of the court, giving them a chance to cover on the road in Miami.
