NBA Playoffs 2021: Bet These Player Props on Wednesday

Two prop bets for today's NBA slate

Today's NBA slate features two key games, but I'll go with Hawks-Sixers as the marquee matchup. Philadelphia is favored by 7-points and the total is set to 224.

For today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries. Even with a limited amount of matchups, there are still plenty of options to choose from for our player prop bets.

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Reggie Jackson OVER 16.5 Points

Kawhi Leonard is out tonight, which opens up the door for a big game from Jackson. Yes, the injury is already baked into the number here, but I like the situation. Other than Paul George, the Clippers don't have many guys that can create their own shots. In comes Jackson, who isn't shy about letting it fly.

He's averaging 15.2 points per game this postseason and 14.8 a game against the Jazz. His volume will go up tonight, as should his 3-point attempts.

The game script also looks good, as the Jazz are now big favorites with Kawhi out. If Utah is up, Jackson will need to keep chucking in the second half.

Jackson's coming off of a clunker of a game, but he's gone over this mark five times this postseason. This is the perfect situational spot to buy low on him.

Seth Curry OVER 2.5 Threes Made

Going to keep riding the Curry wave here. The juice is up to -125 as of writing this piece, but I still like the mark. He's gone over this number in six of his nine postseason games. Curry also has hit three or more 3s in three out of four games this series and is shooting 57.2% from deep.

Atlanta is going to try to pack it in to stop Embiid like they did last game, which opens up the floor for Curry to get clean looks. We've seen it for a couple of years now, but if Curry has the time, he will make teams pay.

He's averaging 6.5 3-point attempts a game this series, so the volume is there. And, Danny Green is still out, which is just another plus in this situation.

With a total of 224, the game script should be favorable for Curry, as we will see a lot of points in this one. Can't stop, won't stop betting Curry at this mark.
