NBA Playoffs 2021: Bet These Player Props on Thursday

Today's NBA slate features two games. Even with a limited amount of matchups, there are still plenty of options to choose from for our player prop bets. Let's go with Clippers-Jazz as tonight's marquee game. Utah is favored by 3-points and the total is set to 223.

For today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries. 

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Paul George OVER 7.5 Rebounds

PG13 struggled shooting the ball in Game 1, but pulled down 10 rebounds. He also averaged 7 boards a game against the Jazz during the regular season.

The Clippers have found themselves playing small ball since the latter part of that Mavericks series, which has put George in position to grab more rebounds.

PG leads the Clippers in rebounds in the playoffs, averaging 9.1 RPG this postseason. George has gone over this mark in five of eight playoff games, and I don't anticipate anything changing tonight.

Game script wise, we have a total set to 223, so we should see plenty of action and opportunities for rebounds. I have this number closer to 9, so I like the mark here.

Kawhi Leonard OVER 27.5 Points

Game 1 of the series was a tough spot for Leonard and he still finished with 23 points. Look for a big bounce back game from him tonight. If that game was any indicator of how this matchup is going to go, he knows he'll need to pickup more of the scoring load. He's averaging 31 points per game in the playoffs, and I have him finishing closer to that outcome tonight.

Look for Los Angeles to get Kawhi more involved in the post. Utah plays great team defense and has Gobert to protect the rim, but Leonard will be able to do damage from the mid-post and free throw line.

We should see a lot of points between both teams, so the game script should be favorable. He's gone over this mark in five of eight games this postseason, so I'm good backing him at this price.
