NBA Playoffs 2021: Bet These Player Props on Friday

Two prop bets for today's NBA slate

Today's NBA slate features two games and both of them should come down to the wire. Even with a limited amount of matchups, there are still plenty of options to choose from for our player prop bets. Let's go with Suns-Nuggets as tonight's marquee game. Denver is favored by 1-point and the total is set to 223.5.

For today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Nikola Jokic UNDER 6.5 Assists

The Joker is averaging just 4.5 assists per game this postseason. Against the Suns, he has had assist outputs of 6 and 3 through the first two games. Phoenix is great at limiting assists, ranking 4th overall in assists allowed. But, it's not just the Suns. Jokic has gone under this mark in seven of eight playoff games.

The MVP is going to receive his award tonight, and the home crowd should be rocking, so I can see a big game from him. When it comes to this matchup, he'll come out aggressive and have more of an impact scoring wise. He'll need to carry more of the offensive load tonight, especially if Michael Porter Jr.'s back is hurt.

Look for this lower assist trend to continue. I like this bet at + money, so make sure you shop around for a good number.

Joel Embiid OVER 32.5 Points

The Process just can't be stopped! Have to give him credit for battling through this knee injury so far, it's been fun to watch. Embiid is averaging 29.2 points per game in the playoffs, and that number is a whopping 39.5 against Atlanta.

Unfortunately there's no one on the Hawks that can guard or contain him. Atlanta lost De'Andre Hunter, which hurts them defensively and depth wise. The Hawks also rank 21st in offensive rebounds allowed and defensive rating. I anticipate some easy putbacks off of some offensive boards for the Sixers big man.

With a total of 224.5, we will see plenty of action, so the game script should be favorable. He's gone over this mark in three of his six games so far this postseason.
