NBA Player Props: 4 Best Bets for Tuesday, April 13

4 player prop bets to make for today's 7-game slate

Today we have a 7-game NBA slate that features a couple of fun TNT matchups. The card gives us plenty of options to choose from for our player prop bets. As for the game of the day, I'll go with Celtics-Blazers as tonight's marquee game. Portland is a 1-point favorite and the total is set to 229.5.

For today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Paul George OVER 26.5 points

PG13 is averaging 26 points per game (PPG) over his last seven games. He has hit the 30-point mark in his last three games and finally looks like he is getting into a groove.

The Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard and possibly Patrick Beverly, so they will need George to get buckets tonight. They are also playing against an Indiana team that is 21st in points allowed and 24th in field goals allowed.

Game script wise, we should see a lot of points in this one, as it has the highest total on the board.

Caris LeVert OVER 17.5 points

I like this game so much that I'm making two plays on it.

LeVert is averaging 17.7 PPG on the year and 18.5 points over his last ten outings. He also has gone over this mark in four out of his last five games. It's nice to see him back from his health scare and playing well. LeVert is finally getting into a groove and this is the perfect matchup for him to eclipse this number.

Los Angeles has a great defense, but today they will be without Leonard and Serge Ibaka. Beverly is also most probably out. All three of those guys provide length and Leonard and Beverly are two of the best defenders in the league. Without them on the court, the Pacers will be able to score in this one.

Indiana is also playing at a super fast pace, fifth highest in the league. I see this game going back and forth until the end with LeVert getting plenty of opportunities to score against a hobbled LAC defense.

Kevin Huerter OVER 3.5 assists & OVER 2.5 3-pointers made

Huerter comes into this game averaging 3.5 assists per game, but this is a matchup play for me. Toronto comes into this game giving up the 28th most assists in the league. He has also gone over this mark in his last three outings.

The Raptors are also 26th in three-pointers allowed and 22nd in opponent's three-point percentage. His three ball has been off, which is why this bet is being offered at +125 at most books. The volume is there, as he's been averaging 5.6 threes per game. He will definitely get some clean looks tonight.

Atlanta has several key players that are either questionable or out tonight, so they will need both Trae Young and Huerter to step up offensively. I like the matchup here enough to take both of these wagers.

BetQL Model Play of the Day

BetQL has a 4-star play tonight on the Clippers-Pacers game. The model is liking the Pacers at this number. Indiana should be a 1-point dog via the model's projections, which is a 2-point difference from the current line. So, there is some value on them tonight.
