Today’s NBA slate features 10 games, which means there will be plenty of options to choose from in the player prop pool. As for tonight’s marquee game? I’ll go with Utah Jazz-Philadelphia 76ers, as Donovan Mitchell and Joel Embiid should both provide entertaining moments. Utah is currently favored by 3.5 points and the total for the game is set to 228.

As for today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Zion Williamson OVER 28.5 points

Williamson is having a monster season and comes into tonight averaging 25.5 points per game (PPG). Over his last ten outings, that number has jumped to 29.5 PPG.

Tonight he faces a Chicago Bulls team that will have no answer in containing him. They have no real rim protector and Williamson should eat against the likes of Thaddeus Young, Wendell Carter Jr., and Luke Kornet.

Defensively, they rank 24th in points allowed, 22nd in opponent’s field goal percentage and 25th in field goals allowed.

The total for this matchup is set to 237.5, which is the highest on the board. Even though this is a high number for Zion, the game script calls for a lot of points.

Chi-town has been dominated by every good big they have faced this year, and that should continue tonight.

Bruce Brown OVER 12.5 points

I know Brown is a smaller name in a matchup featuring several stars, but hear me out. While opposing teams have been honing in on stopping James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and even Joe Harris, Brown has quietly been getting buckets.

Over his last ten games, Brown is averaging 12.5 PPG, and that number has gone up to 18.6 PPG over his last five outings. He’s also gone over this mark in four out of his last five games.

The Houston Rockets rank 25th in defensive rating over their last ten games. They are reeling as a team, but they’ll probably try their best to stop Harden from going off tonight. That should open up the door for a guy like Brown to get some easy scores on assists from The Beard.

Rudy Gobert UNDER 13.5 points

Gobert is averaging 14.2 PPG this season, but this is a tough matchup for him against the Sixers. The last time these two teams played, Gobert only had three field goal attempts and scored 11 points.

Philadelphia is strong on the boards, as they rank 4th in defensive rebounds and 7th in rebounds allowed. Philly also ranks 1st in blocks, 5th in defensive rating, 6th in opponent’s field goal percentage, and 10th in field goals allowed.

Utah will need to rely on their guards and wings to score and Gobert won’t be able to get easy putbacks against Joel Embiid and company.
