NBA Player Props: 3 Best Bets for Tuesday, April 6
3 player prop bets to make for today's 8-game slate
Today's 8-game NBA slate presents us with plenty of options to choose from for our player prop bets. We get a ton of great matchups, but I'll go with Blazers-Clippers as tonight's marquee game. Los Angeles is a 5.5-point favorite and the total is set to 229.5.
As for today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries.
Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.
Get all of BetQL's best bets for the NBA season! Dating back a full calendar year, our five-star (max-value) bets have won 61% of the time!
Tomas Satoransky OVER 5.5 assists
Sato comes into this game averaging 5 assists per game. I like the matchup tonight vs. Indiana, as the Pacers rank 25th in assists allowed and have been slipping defensively as a unit.
Chicago coach Billy Donovan inserted Satoransky into the starting lineup to bring stability to the unit and it has paid off. He is coming off of a season high 11 assist game in which the Bulls won. The point guard has gone over this mark in his last three out of four games.
The game has a total of 226, so we will see plenty of buckets. And, this should be a close, back and forth battle, so he should get plenty of minutes to help his cause.

Damian Lillard UNDER 27.5 points
Lillard is averaging 29.6 points per game (PPG). I know I've been riding Dame overs this season (thank you DAME), but this is a tougher matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers.
LAC ranks 4th in three-pointers allowed, 6th in points allowed and 10th in defensive rating. They also have size, length and a plethora of guards and wings to throw at Lillard in this matchup. The last time these two teams played, Dame went for 20.
CJ McCollum is back and playing well, which should slightly help our bet here since they will split the scoring load.
This game also has all the makings of a grinder type of game, so I'll hit his under points here.
Donte DiVincenzo OVER 6.5 rebounds
This number is a little high, but this is a great matchup for DiVincenzo. He is averaging 5.6 rebounds a game but that number has jumped to 7.8 over his last nine games played.
Golden State ranks in the bottom-five of key defensive metrics, including 29th in rebounds allowed and 30th in offensive rebounds allowed. He is an active guy that is going to hit the offensive glass, which will help a ton against the Warriors.
The game script also looks favorable since this total is the highest on the board. We should see plenty of makes and misses, so look for DiVencenzo to clean up on the glass tonight.

BetQL Model Play of the Day
BetQL has a 5-star play tonight on the Blazers-Clippers game. The model is liking the Blazers +5.5 at this number. Portland should be getting 3 points via the model's projections, which is a 2.5-point difference from the current line. So, there is some value on the Blazers tonight.
