NBA Player Props: 2 Best Bets for Thursday, May 13

Today's NBA Slate features 9-games including a couple of huge matchups for seeding, so it will be a fun night. In terms of betting, there are plenty of options to choose from for our player prop bets. There are so many big games, but for the marquee game of the day, I'll go with Sixers-Heat. Miami is favored by 1-point and the total is set to 218.5.

For today’s best NBA bets, player props are a fun way to wager on NBA games even if you don't like a side or total. I like to find matchups that I can exploit or good situations due to injuries. 

Let’s dive into a couple of these scenarios now.

Julius Randle OVER 9.5 rebounds

Randle is averaging 10.3 rebounds a game on the year and gets a good matchup against the Spurs tonight. SAS ranks 28th in rebounds allowed and 24th in offensive rebounds allowed. The last time these two teams played, Randle pulled down 11 boards.

The Knicks are still trying to win for seeding purposes, so look for Randle to continue to play a ton of minutes, unless this turns into a blowout.

He has grabbed double-digit rebounds in two out of his last three games, and I like his opponent tonight.

Devin Booker OVER 27.5 points

High mark here, but I like the spot. He's scoring 28.5 points per game (PPG) over his last 10 games. Over the two times they've played the Blazers, he's putting up 34.5 PPG.

On paper, this is a great matchup. Defensively, Portland ranks 22th in points allowed and 29th in defensive rating. He's also scored 30 or more points in five out of his last seven games.

Game script wise, this game has the third highest total on the board and both teams should play fast tonight. Both which will help Booker get over this number.

One other prop I'm still waiting for a number on is Tobias Harris. Embiid is expected to miss the game, and Harris is averaging 22.2 points per game without him this year. If the number is around 18.5-19.5, I'd be the over.
