Clippers at Bulls Best Bets For Today

Clippers at Bulls Under 230 Points (-110)

The Bulls have gone 9-13 to the O/U at home this season and these teams rank 22nd (Bulls) and 23rd (Clippers) in Offensive Rating this season, which isn’t much of a surprise. Chicago’s offense is solely reliant on the production of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic. If one falters, they don’t have the depth to rely on others to step up. Meanwhile, Los Angeles tends to rest Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and others throughout the season which prevents them from making strides as a cohesive unit. This jumped out to me as a great play and our model’s initial projection validated that thought. Grab this before action drives it down, which I expect to happen.

Lakers at Knicks Best Bets For Today

Lakers +3 at Knicks (-110)

After sitting out last night against the Nets, both LeBron James and Anthony Davis are expected back for this matchup against the Knicks, who have gone just 9-14-2 ATS at Madison Square Garden this season. New York has a proven ability to close the door on their opponents, even if they hold a double-digit point lead, and also own the 24th-ranked Defensive Rating at home this year. I’m going to roll with LeBron, AD and LA to redeem themselves on TNT after a heartbreaking ending to their last primetime game against the Celtics in which they were robbed of a win. The Lakers have gone 11-3 ATS on the road when the total is 230 or more and it’s hovered right around there so far.

Hornets at Bucks Best Bets For Today

Hornets +12 at Bucks (-110)

This is my upset moneyline pick of the day as well, but let’s play it safe and attack the spread. Coming off back-to-back victories (against the Bulls and Heat), the Hornets have won four of six games outright and have made some huge strides defensively in that span. With Bobby Portis out, Charlotte will obviously have to key in on limiting Giannis Antetokounmpo (who is not at 100% health) and Jrue Holiday, but the Hornets dropped 51 first-quarter points en route to a 138-109 victory against Milwaukee last time they played. That most likely won’t happen again in this matchup, but based on this number, I’m all over this.
