New York Knicks big man Julius Randle is having a terrific season, and has become an overwhelming favorite to win the NBA's Most Improved Player award. Randle is currently the favorite to win the award at DraftKings Sportsbook, listed at -305. Jerami Grant comes in second at +200, followed by Michael Porter Jr., at +2000.

Up until March 23rd, Grant was the favorite, but then Randle went off for 37-points while leading the Knicks to a victory against the Wizards. The Knicks stud has not looked back since.

Randle has been one of the best players in the East, averaging career highs in points (23.2), rebounds (10.6) and assists (6) this season. He also made his first All-Star game appearance, solidifying his strong surge.

One of the keys to his success on offense has been his ability to step outside the arc. He averaging two makes and five takes a game from three, all while shooting 40.4 percent from deep. All career highs.

The only other person I can see even having a shot at this award is Denver's Porter Jr. He's finally made the leap this year, and has been on fire over the past month. With Jamal Murray going down due to injury, the Nuggets will need Porter Jr. to step up on offense even more. If you are looking for someone to sprinkle some money on outside of Randle, MPJ presents some value at 20-1.

With the season winding down to an end, Randle will likely end up winning the award. The hype train will be especially high if the Knicks can get into the playoffs for the first time since the 2012-13 seasons.
