Yesterday, ESPN's NBA insider Bobby Marks joined Nick Kostos and Ken Barkley on You Better You Bet to discuss the upcoming NBA Draft.
Here are the best nuggets from their conversation:
I think he can potentially goto Golden State at 7 if the Warriors keep 7 and 14. For Golden State, who is in win now mode, they do not want to take a flier on player to come in and develop. Mitchell is one of the older players in this draft and coming off of a championship. You can put him in right now with Curry, and once Thompson comes back. So, I'd say Mitchell's range is in that 5-8 range.
Cunningham is the logical pick to Detroit. Then it gets interesting. You've heard guys like Suggs, Mobley, Green in the 2-4 range.
I think it's equal for 2-3. Then there is some separation from where Suggs is. But, I think with Green and Mobley that you can flip a coin for either one of those guys.
There's a reason why these teams are in the lottery. These teams need a lot of help. If you are Houston or Cleveland, you are going to go out and get the best available player regardless of who is on your roster. But, I do think it is a toss up between Green and Mobley at 2.
