The Suns' odds are slightly better than those of the defending champion Warriors here and the team is in a pretty good spot after keeping Deandre Ayton on the roster by matching the Pacers' offer for him. They fell to the Mavericks in the conference semifinals last season after finishing with the best record in the league, so they'll likely be motivated for revenge this year.

The Warriors are the defending NBA champions and it's very likely Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will be back for more success next season. Their odds are not very far behind the Suns and it could only be a matter of time before they leapfrog right over Phoenix as the season begins and they look to win their first division title since 2018-2019.
