Cavaliers Injuries

Ante ZizicCLE
Still sidelined
Zizic hasn't played since mid-January due to a vestibular condition and remains without any clear timeline to return to game action. Once he's cleared to play, Zizic will likely find himself outside of the rotation, as Andre Drummond and Tristan Thompson represent the clear top two centers on the roster.

Kevin LoveCLE | PF
won't play Wednesday
Love picked up an Achilles injury during Sunday's loss to the Clippers, and while coach John Beilein deemed the issue a "mild" one, it will cost the veteran big man at least one game. Larry Nance is expected to start in place of Love, whose next chance to take the court will now come after the All-Star break.

Dylan WindlerCLE
Undergoes successful surgery
Windler, who initially sustained the injury during training camp, was able to return for two games in December-- both with the G League's Canton Charge -- before suffering a setback and ultimately opting for surgery. As such, Windler's rookie season will begin in 2020-21. A more concrete timetable for his return should emerge once he's cleared to resume basketball activities, though the early expectation is that the 2019 first-round pick will be near full strength by the time training camp starts up again next fall.

Wizards Injuries

Thomas BryantWAS | C
Could be back right after break
Right foot soreness sidelined Bryant for the four games leading up to the break. His return would be a welcome one, as the Wizards are four wins out of the eighth seed and could make a late run for the postseason if the Magic begin to slip. In 29 appearances this season, Bryant has averaged 12.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 25.5 minutes.

Anzejs PasecniksWAS | PF
Questionable again
Pasecniks popped up on the injury report ahead of Tuesday night's game and ended up sitting out. There's a good chance that's the case again Wednesday, though either way, Pasecniks has fallen out of the regular rotation.

John WallWAS
takes part in 5-on-5 work
Curiously, Wall's on-court workout didn't come during a Wizards practice; instead, the point guard scrimmaged with several ex-Heat players, including former lottery picks Amar'e Stoudemire and Michael Beasley. According to Wall, it was the first time that he had taken part in a 5-on-5 workout since he underwent a pair of surgeries last January to repair his ruptured left Achilles' tendon. While the activity marks a significant step forward in the rehab process for Wall, the expectation remains that he'll be sidelined for the entire 2019-20 campaign, even though the Wizards have refused to officially rule him out for the season.

C.J. MilesWAS
Cut loose by Washington
Miles had already been ruled out for the season after undergoing left wrist surgery in early December, but the rebuilding Wizards had viewed the 32-year-old as a valuable veteran presence on a young roster. Even so, Washington couldn't afford to keep Miles on the roster due to the club's mounting health concerns, as six other players remain sidelined due to injuries. According to Bobby Marks of ESPN.com, Washington will still retain its $4.4 million Disabled Player Exception that had been awarded after Miles was ruled out for the season. The Wizards will convert Anzejs Pasecniks' two-way deal into a standard contract, allowing him to take Miles' spot on the 15-man roster.
