Out again Tuesday
Martin will miss his second straight contest due to a left ankle sprain. His next opportunity to return will come Friday in Oklahoma City.

Karl-Anthony TownsMIN | C
out two more weeks
The Wolves' medical staff is not having Towns pursue surgery, so it seems like the hope is that he can return before the season ends. We should learn more in a couple of weeks when he's re-evaluated, though it's possible there will be updates before then.

Unlikely to join team
After Turner was acquired from the Hawks on Feb. 4, the Timberwolves were expected to work toward a buyout agreement with the veteran wing, who is in the final season of a four-year, $70 million contract. Turner was allowed to meet with prospective suitors while Minnesota discussed the buyout with his representatives, but the 31-year-old ultimately wasn't able to find a new home before the March 1 deadline for players to sign with other teams and retain postseason eligibility. With Turner's window for joining a contending club likely having closed, his season may be over, too. The rebuilding Timberwolves don't have any plans to include Turner in their rotation, so he'll presumably remain away from the team for the final month and a half of the season before becoming a free agent this summer.

Magic Injuries

Jonathan IsaacORL | SF
Continues to don hinged knee brace
Isaac was diagnosed with a severe left knee sprain and bone contusion after exiting early in a Jan. 1 game in Washington, and though he was able to avoid surgery, the Magic ruled him out for the season just over a month later. Since that time, the NBA has suspended its season due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the ongoing hiatus could provide Isaac with enough time to heal up from the injury and rejoin the Magic for a potential playoff run. Orlando likely won't have a firm timeline for Isaac's return for at least another month, however, as the 6-foot-11 forward still appears to be stuck in the initial stages of his rehab program. While Isaac has thus far avoided any setbacks, he has yet to resume any on-court activity since suffering the injury, and he won't be allowed to even work out in front of the Magic coaching staff until the NBA allows teams to reconvene for training.

longer absence in store
The team hasn't provided an official timeline for his return, but coach John Clifford said "it could be a little bit" before he retakes the court. Wes Iwundu is starting Friday's contest in Minnesota and figures to see an expanded role while Fournier remains sidelined.

Al-Farouq AminuORL | PF
Could return in delayed season
Aminu hasn't played since Nov. 29 after suffering a torn meniscus in his right knee that required surgery just over a month later following an unsuccessful rest-and-rehab program. Later in January, the Magic were granted a displayed player exception for Aminu, indicating that the NBA agreed the forward was unlikely to return to action prior to June 15. While that timeline would normally rule Aminu out through the start of the NBA Finals, the league's decision to suspend its season indefinitely could leave the door open for him to play again in 2019-20. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, owners and executives around the league view mid-to-late June as a best-case scenario for the NBA to resume action. Considering Aminu had previously stated that he expected to be ready to compete for Nigeria in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in late July, he may have a legitimate shot at being cleared to play for the Magic this summer. Robbins relays that Aminu is progressing well in his recovery and is no longer sporting a stabilizing brace on his right knee.
