The Hidden Gem In Baltimore’s Lineup

He's already hit 30 HRs this season

Although the Baltimore Orioles are 46-97, the organization has a few bright spots that represent a light at the end of the tunnel.

One of those is Trey Mancini. Through 136 games played, the corner outfielder/first baseman has hit 30 home runs and posted 77 RBI this year.

Mancini’s presence in Baltimore’s lineup is enough for opposing pitchers to pay attention to. He’s transformed himself into an all-around hitter and uses all fields.

Over the last 30 days, the Orioles rank 19th in runs scored (125) and 15th in HRs (37). Therefore, while their pitching has been consistently awful all season long, some of their bats are collectively starting to heat up towards the end of the regular season.

Baltimore opened as +255 underdogs against the Los Angeles Dodgers and quickly moved to +275 underdogs by the early morning hours on Tuesday. Walker Buelhler will toe the rubber for the Dodgers.
