Due to the unfortunate placement of a foul ball, Milwaukee Brewers star (and NL MVP candidate) Christian Yelich suffered a broken kneecap and will miss the rest of the season.
Christian Yelich left tonight’s game with a fractured right knee cap. He will miss the remainder of the season.

At 76-68, the Brewers are right on the outside looking in when it comes to the NL Wild Card race, but losing Yelich will undoubtedly hurt their chances.
All in all, it was an unreal year for the reigning NL MVP.
So Christian Yelich's 2019 totals will be: .329/.429/.671 slash line, 44 HR, 97 RBI, 100 R, 30-32 SB in 131 G.

52 HR
91 XBH
35 SB
120 RBIs
121 runs
.338./445/.700/1.145
If that had been one actual season, you know how many players have ever had one like it?
That would be nobody!
In the short term, it will be interesting to see what Craig Counsell decides to do lineup-wise, but veteran Ryan Braun and rookie Trent Grisham are the logical candidates to start in right field.
